would white grease work for this got some very expensive stuff that works wonders on anything mechanical i can steal from work - its about £10 a can and sticks like shit to a blanket whilst still lubin stuff up :)

If it was heated up so is runny should, it needs to drip inside the motor.

Top tip fella :hattip:

Can I just add NOT to use WD40, as it's a degreaser and will get rid of any lubricants :satan:

Shit  :what:  thats me beat then... used some 3 in 1 spray for mine.. worked ok for about 3-4 weeks then its back to thinking a family of crickets invaded your groom

Yep. sadly my cunning plan did not work so well, the crickets have crept back into mine too.

If I had more room in my groom would get some decent fans, is the only solution I think.

Sorry to waste peoples time.

I open up my extractors every now n then to clean all the carbon dust out, I've never thought to lube it up though! I dunno if you can even get to the bearings in a can fan without stripping it right down!

Well the lube idea works only temporary Country, as I later found out after making this thread thinking I cured all my crickets lol

I invested in some Robert Dyson Green 7" fans tho & after 3 grows they are still running sweet with no noises.

I highly recommend. :)
