Hello everyone.

 

Please use this thread to brainstorm ideas about how you would like the forum to develop. The things you would like to see.

We have a very good technical team here and just want to continue to improve the experience for all of you. Unlike other forums, we are committed to the ongoing regular improvements, additions to the site and keeping ahead of the game in terms of the forums content and coolness.

 

Whilst we have a suggestions section, please use this to chuck about all sorts of ideas, debate between yoursevles and perhaps then get a seperate thread up in the suggestions forum once people agree its a good idea. Then mods/admins can see if its all possible.

 

The purpose of this thread then is..

 

1) To have some fun discussing stoned ideas about what this place could be.

2) To allow ideas (however wild), to be discussed with members and build upon how it works.

3) To reduce the risk of people feeling shot down if they want to post up an idea.

4) To debate existing suggestions that people may feel should be resurrected.

 

We are looking for the next big thing to set us apart from the others (but we do quite well at that already). Staff all love the radio and ideas about how we could add in another great feature like that would be most welcome.

 

Initial thoughts are..

 

TGC cinema area

TGC merchandise (mugs, tee shirts etc)

Amsterdam Section with regular updates and pics of menus, reviews of coffeshops etc.

Please note that a shop selling beans etc is not on the agenda right now.

 

So come on peeps get those thinking caps on and the wilder/more abmitious the better.

No shop yet, ok fair enough but how about setting up a seed swap-shop of sorts? Purely between members of course, no outside 'customers'. It would work like I would send Krazy Dave 5 Maui Waui beans and I'd have a credit of 5 beans with KD. Maybe I could even swap that 5bean KD credit with someone else? Good idea, crap idea? I dunno, brain started farting and this is what came out.

e.g;

papers / cones / blunts

bongs / spoons / pipes

vaporisers

ecigs

 

also, maybe something to do with home-made mods,

we have some clever resourceful people on here, who may like to share there idea's or methods.

I love this idea. I'm planning on making a bunch of feminised Big Buddha Cheese seeds my next grow too so would LOVE for this to be cool.

Like shy teds idea about rejigging, or adding to, or re organising, re naming it. I do think "smoking accessories" is a good title for that section and  may resonate a bit more with browsing members.

 

Noted on the seed swap thing, but be aware its risky to the longevity of the forum, if there was a dedicated area on the forum for it. Similar reasons as the shop.  But noted it is.  Thankyou.

 

Quite right on the copyright for the cinema a good point. Which then opens up the debate into what could be shown in there.

 

Keep em coming folks. Again brainfarts are very welcome.
