yoo Mellowed and Zip.

Wondered who swears by doing them methods last few weeks of their grow, imitating their natural seasonal cycle -  fatten the buds out more and trichcome production?

or those who dont bother and dont see any difference from doing it?

cheers

Ah I see. Daaaamn I must be stoned :)
I tend to leave them alone until the flush then I start reducing the light hours to 11/13 then the last week 10/14.

It dont think it does work or tbh show any noticable increase in speed until after the first week but i think thats down to the plant getting use to the drop in light. .......shock almost but not as bad.
Once that first week is up then they speed up a bit more.
Tbh i dont know why i adjust my lights to 11/13 but it makes me feel better lol

Ive also played about with leaving plants in the dark for a week or so an kept an eye on them.
This is what i found.
First 3-4 days nothing happens but after that the trics will mature quicker. After 5-6 days most tricomes have started to mature and gone either cloudy or amber. I didnt go past about 8 days i think it was.

Hope that helps mate.
