Okay so I watched those videos on how to make rosin, but from what is being discussed in this thread, I found this and it's kinda more relevant to what you guys are talking about now.



After watching this, I'm so giving it a try.

Nah the only straighteners my misses has are GHDs and if I cracked the plates... well I wouldn't be typing anything for a while eh hahahahaha

I'm gonna get a pair of titanium ones from electron and try this though. Luckily the hardware shop I need for the grips is right next door too lol

A nice od bit of diy that machine thingi @The Clone Ranger good effort m8, what return does give you in rosin from bud weight ?

 

 

hey up bud i squished 1g of bud in a garlic press just to form it into a puck then broke that puck in half and doubled it up, and pressed that inside abit of bubble bag pressing screen onto parchment paper with the clamp and the return i got was 0.18 i think so about 18% i think

 

and the fresh frozen bubble was 0.96 in and 0.73 out i think not to sure the post with all the pics of the rosin i have the correct weights there..

 

when i was pressing by hand with the straightener i was always left with oil/rosin in the screen now im using the SQUISHER RR lol there is no oil/resin left on the screen not even sticky just a week bit waxy, its a game changer is the SQUISHER RR.. everyone should have one

when you say by hand you're getting rosin left on the screen, was it still sticky ?

hahaha rosin whisky, and yeh i could actually see the rosin/oil on the screen but now with the squisher, its a totally different ball game

Right then, I just put 1g of cheese rosin in the oven, middle shelf, 110 degrees C. Only doing a gram to see how it goes !
Gonna leave it in there for an hour, then tomorrow I'm eating the lot !
