Right me and missy have been messing with images for a bit now for a logo and thought we would share them and hopefully inspire others to have a go, whatever is the best will be the one thats used, heres some of my work so far from a starting point of recreating the original.

Decided with others the sphere too much in middle but have kept it lying around anyway.

And after much more tweaking down to my final ones, I really like the adidas style one meself.

Oooh it's funny you mention it because I've had an idea for a logo,
was waiting for my next cuttings to go in the machine so I can get some pictures,
a perfect circle of clones with some nice tgc writing.

I like what you have done though, looks good
Be interesting to see what everyone else comes up with

The same again, but with different fonts, and a slightly better-placed gradient fill...

It's quite difficult finding something which has a large enough gap in the G to fit the reen in there nicely. The second one is better than the first in that respect.

It's quite easy to convert any text to curves and modify the G to suit but, although it works, it looks a bit odd on some fonts, and it can cause the the G to become a bit indistinct at smaller sizes, making it look similar to a C, so I mostly abandoned that idea.
