i would quite like to hear from anyone who has had a play with uvb/uva lighting an if its worth adding in.

Seen a few mates play with this an it works wonders mate.
Im gonna get myself a few bulbs when i get some cash together.

You only want it on for a short time each day.........about 20 mins to an hour from what i remember.

Well worth it though.

thinking of getting a twin light unit, that powers 2 40w uvb 10 tubes that are 40 somthing inches long an positioning them vertically

Ive used uvb before...

 

20 watter with a 250 hps (apparently 10% of watts is usually where yoy want to go).

Did it with a v3 cut from heaths originals and was worth it imho. Proper good finisher and i observed slightly denser more trichier plants.

But not as obvious results as something like the molasses, but potency , flavourwas excellent on the finished plants.

All it does is stress em i believe and does add in to the spectrum of light to simulate the sun.

I did have to rotate it around plants as each one it was over you could see em finishing a little better?

Is it worth it? Im not sure. I havent been arsed to do it again since and did it 3-4 times.

Its also dangerous for eyes so never go in with lights on kind of thing.
