cool tube? or parabolic?
You would probably be better getting a cool shade. I'm never getting rid of mine now. It can get up to 50 deg C here but my tent stays pretty cool being cooled this way and underground. My LEDs made it too cold if i extracted the air!

That's not a bad idea but I already have a "euro" wing reflector and then I upgraded to a parabolic... It will be like a reflector display showroom in the spare room lol
you wouldn't regret it though!

thanks Sprink. that Mars 2 looks good quality... how much did you pay for it?
I've seen journals where people get a pretty decent yield.

Cheers Bad.
It worked out at £250 with delivery, which should be pretty good value.
I've been using really old panels with 3W diodes and only 3 bands, but they still make great bud, so this should be even better.
It'll be in a 1m square tent, and 450W is just fine for that I reckon

Also got a 600w vipar and that draws 300w but I would say the vipar performs as well as my 400w hps but at less cos to run and less heat to deal with.
Both units I've tested myself not gone on manufacturers specs.
