We've a bit of a conundrumumnunmum going on at the moment

 

We want to improve the forum and get more members on board as well as improving the site's ranking on the search engines so that it's easier to find for new members. There's lots of little things that we do in the background that never get seen.

 

One of the things we try to do is balance what is visible to the outside world as opposed to the stuff that is strictly members only. One of these areas is the Competitions section. This has been hidden since day one, along with all the actual Growing parts (which WILL remain private) But, are we missing an opportunity here in attracting new members and allowing the search engines to index these comp threads to hopefully, attract new growers/aficionados to the Circle?

 

So, basically, this poll is to gauge members opinion on opening up this section to all visitors to have a look at. Please let us know you thoughts/concerns etc,.

 

The poll ends in 7 days time and we'll make a decision then how to go forward.

I voted yes for 2 reasons

1) is because visitors/future members sometimes get a sneaky view of a grow and see some fun

2) it would not only be good for the forum but it's a little but of a reward for the comp sponsor who so far have been amazing with some top prizes

It looks like the vote has gone for making comps visible, which we will do at some point this week.
But, we will create a members only section and keep all the previous comps in there to respect that previous entrants may have expected privacy.
