I would love to be able to make soup but very time i try it ends up like sick and not very appetizing
Very hard to get a veg soup right, once I think my wife managed to do a nice one (I never made a nice one 
). Her carrot and coriander soup is delicious (and a hell of a lot easier to pull off) though

Yeah, it's a bugger peeling 1lb of carrots though - hands looked like an oompa-loompa's after! The taste was worth it though, sweet with a coriander kick that gives it a spicy undertone.
My gran used to cook an amazing chicken soup from scratch, but unfortunately no-one thought of getting the recipe for it before she died Made her own stock from the bones and entrails and added a load of veg and other stuff in, absolutely divine flavour.

I wonder if one of the kids want to earn a pound or two peeling? 
same here with the recipe yea my nan used to do a pea and ham one with a ham shank in it, was lovely, well my the smell from the whole family in my nans living room after eating wasnt though

My step mother gave me some kind of home made soup after a long journey up once [emoji15] swear she was trying to kill me [emoji23]me and capt made a quick exit and booked into an hotel ... swear she done it on purpose ... she never liked me [emoji23] money grabbing bitch[emoji33] oops [emoji23]
