Thanks all,

For the last 3 weeks of this kushery grow I shall have to get a babysitter to tend them as the complete anarchy of Nepal awaits me. The country has run out of fuel, medicine and a kilo of firewood is currently fetching more than a local weeks wages. I much prefer this to the awful run up to christmas and the propaganda filled tv.  Fortunately the beer is still well supplied and a big tree of weed has been cut and is drying awaiting my arrival. hi ken that sounds like my idea of christmas any room in your suitcase for a small lightweight hippy?do you ever find any nepalese landrace seeds at all?i was gifted some alleged nepalese landrace kush seeds but all 5 turned out male.i hope your ladies have a good babysitter and you come back to a nice trimming session,peace

With all the antibiotics and other medication I am taking as luggage for the village hospitals I dont even think I will be taking a spare set of clothes. Medicine, tent, sleeping bag, money and passport is my 30kg luggage allowance used up.  Fortunately in that part of the world its harvest season and despite the earthquakes and political toil my brothers from other mothers have some nice goodies waiting for me.  

 

As for landraces, yes there are many left on this planet and particularly in Nepal.  Many castes hold their own genetics for medicinal or veterinary purposes. My friends mother is what we would call a shaman or medicine woman and despite her 90 years of age she full well understands the plant, its uses and its cultivation. Originally I was due to fly before the quake via Delhi and intended to bring back landrace seeds for Escob@r to breed with. Unfortunately I am flying via Oman and this means I am unwilling to smuggle via there. I might start a thread  of the diary I kept whilst teaching in the hills there, Im sure I could slip a few picks of the weed and hash  I encountered.

 

My grows are ever so simple so the babysitter should have an easy enough time of it.

unfortunately Ive had to cancel my travel due to health issues but there will always be next year. 

 

Heres the kushery. All plants were put in 12/12 at different times.On pic no 4 I noticed a dark area that sent botrytis bells ringing. Sure enough the top bud has developed a bit so I culled the top cola to prevent it spreading. Very dense buds so unsurprised. Just shows how useful a pic diary can be.

hi ken thats so true about diary pics as i have several times seen things in my pics i never noticed in the flesh i love your pics the close ups show the trichs well,i got a new computer today swanky modern one so going to try the usb scope again as it wouldnt capture images on me knackered one!thanks for sharing,peace
