My m8 has mine when i`m finnished with it and he`s never had a problem or pull, so i think they could probably do like 7 or 8 grows and mine do including my mukka`s use of them, but yes swapping for new is a peace of mind thing for me too. :)

I use Can Filters. They're massive but last for ages. I'm only on my 2nd one in 7 years.

Ok, it did get a bit stinky for a few years in Vlad towers but hey! I got my money's worth![emoji23]

Also, the grow shop gave me cash back on the old one, I found out later this was because it was a collector's item, "they don't make 'em like that anymore" is what he said...

Not sure if I've been ripped off or not tbh.

It was a rhino pro

Not sure how to tackle this one other than emailing them saying that it has had little use and is leaking.
Wanting them to advise

No response yet.

the pro filters are only meant to last 9-12 months thats from there own website, only the bigger filters are claimed to last up to 3 years of continued use, bloody rip of!

I got a rhino filter from greens.
managed one and 3/4 grows before it leaked

Just wondering... Do you have high humidity?

I ask because anything over about 60% or so seriously reduces the efficiency of activated carbon.
