Hi all,

Time to get of my lazy arse and do a little diary again.

Cause I'm a bit late to start a grow I've decided to try some auto's.

The strain I'm growing is Dutch Passion  Blackberry kush. I loved my previous master kush and I always wanted to try some blueberry so this blackberry kush was the logical one to grow

 

I'm growing as always in my grow cube in my loft. Setup is same except for 2 new 200w diy led bars I have made myself.

I'm using 4x 3000K Cree cxb3070 led cobs per bar and running them at 1.4amps. Thats about 200w per bar. Both bars are powered with a meanwell HLG-185H-C1400 driver.

So when they are all lit up I'll be running at about 750w total.

 

The ladies are just over 3 weeks from seed and growing well. Currently feeding at 1.5 ml/L canna A&B and thats it. Total ec is at about 0.9. Temps are sweet at 26c

Both ladies had a 180w panel each until today. I've just fired up the first led bar and will fire up the second one when I can start to see some flowers forming.

Should not be to long now.

Cheers BBB and welcome. Not that technical mate. Just a couple of drivers and some wiring and jobs a goodun.

Came across these cobs when I was researching on how to rebuild one of my old broken panels.

Growers in the US are calling these HID killers so it got me interested lol.

These 2 200w bars produce about 60000 lumens. So they are on par with a 400w HPS

Got 2 more smaller units that I still need to wire up. But for now 750w for a couple of auto's should be enough

And were off, lovely sight Rev, the new cobs look the nuts mate. 750 watt should be enough for any grower to produce nice bud, but in your hands you'll smash it me old mucka. Looking forward to watching your grow Rev, subbed.

Been looking forward to this grow and testing the new cobs.

But I'm a total newb when it comes to auto's so it could go horrible wrong at some point.

Lets hope that won't happen

Your be sweet mate, as I said your smash it Rev. They grow them selves, but with a bit of TLC you can make something special.

Been real busy the last couple of months with shit from work.

Hi rev.  Yes its not just the herb thats so appreciated, for some people growing it provides weeks of enjoyable fun.  The more I look at your grow room the more I appreciate the genius of it.  I bet you will love seeing the results of your work, and autos will thrive under such intense light.  

 

Our autos will bloom well under 24 hour daylight (not all autos will do that BTW) .  Winter-growers sometimes like to run 24/0 light maintain grow room temperatures.

 

I can't wait to see these plants in full bloom!
