Cheers jimmi,

heres the solution and only cost £2 for the cover, had the wood kicking around. Just have to fill the door frame, sand amd paint the frame and the drobe first and get some swanky carpet in there. Hang the filter, new light upgrade to a 600w and dump that noisy lump of an LED, 2 going cheap if any one is looking. Might sling in another 400whps at other end or possibly a 150w hps or mh and then test my shiny new spaceship out on some coco and medicine man. Cant do any of that though until the plasterer and carpet fitters been in so should be there by the end of the month.

Put this girl in a dark wardrobe last night to finish her off, will probably cut her monday. That will be 75 days 12/12 of which she didnt sex for 2 weeks so she should finish from the mother in around 60 days.

Have you ordered the fan and filter yet, cus i see your gonna sling a 600 hps in that room and possibly more, anyhow my point is, i think you were gonna order a 4inch fan and filter ? i really dont think it will cutt it in their during the summer even with a 600hps only, you needa 5inch (125mm) imho,

Hi duke, thanks for looking in. Im pondering the coco. Im not sure I can justify yield/ cost with coco. At the moment my soil cost next to nothing and same with the nutes. I ve done all the hydro before and spent many years and pounds chasing boosters, better nutes etc and as we both know canna is no special plant to grow in terms of difficulty or nutes. I would suggest banana/ musa ensete  from seed for a challenging grow.

Now I have all the tables to build drain to waste or ebb n flood no problems and no investment needed. But I would probably have to buy another set of meters, in the past Ive been through quite a few and a decent set anit cheap. Also then looking at a full set of hessi or canna nutes is more wonga. I have the money no problems but I also have a special cupboard in my shed full of old boosters, biobloom nutes, etc that I just thought were crap. They get poured into my rain butts and fed to my roses. That cupboard must contain about £500 of my wonga. After decades Ive settled for wilko tomato nutes, bit of mychorr max, some bat poo and b n Q soil. I am not yielding massively but I dont hardly veg.

I have noticed many of the bigger coco grows per wat tend to have pretty long veg times from seed imo and I almost question the efficacy of coco because of such long veg times and such dependence on specialised overpriced nutes. This in itself for me is an issue. You become enslaved to buy nutes and it becomes impossible to grow independently of growshops. If I were to do this I would maybe go back to nft with rockwool cubes, simple and massive yields.

I am going to try an experiment by giving long veg to fill a screen, in the veg I intend to pot up until I reach 30 litre pot of soil. This in itself is problematic with a bad back, and spil is messy. Iwill then flip the sgrog to see what I get in comparison to similar coco grows. Its not a very good measuring stick I know. Just wondering duke but how much do you think you could pull from a 2 litre coco pot duke?  I get 25 - 60 depending on strain with only about 1 or 2 weeks veg from seedling.  Scaled up that would be between 375 - 900g. If I hit anywhere near that I wouldnt consider coco. Really appreciate you thoughts duke and I know its like comparing bananas and monkeys eyeballs but wheres the fun comparing apples and oranges.

kinn hell...
