For me it was simply because Anonymous was already taken when I signed up at THC Talk.

People used to call me Sausage when I was in the print game. Not sure why, think they called me it because I was quite tall and slim. Like the angry pepperamie in the adds years ago.
HotSausage makes me sound better looking and more fun than I actually am so I went with it.
