Diterpene loss when using paper filters?

I came across a statement the other day to the effect that paper filters absorb diterpenes whereas metal ones don't.

I haven't looked into it but, if true, it might be something to consider when making extracts/oils (and because diterpenes have anti-inflammatory properties perhaps especially so for medical users?)

I don't know, but if you're using coffee filters then I do know that permanent/washable versions are available so maybe something like that?

About £20notes for. 12"(30cm) X 12"(30cm) so not bad cos you use the same piece over and over to infinity and beyond! Made from 316l to so that's a real good quality stainless

A lot of stainless steel mesh is used in screen printing ;)

 

Just thought I'd add that in case it hadn't occured to anyone. A friend of mine used to work in a pottery & used the stuff for printing on mugs etc :)
