Been a while since I did an update about these freaks.
They all seem to be loving life and have been topped several times.
Kept a cut off the blue OG hopefully this one won't die like the last bit I have no rooting powder. Still worth a try though.

So all the stuff is here for my switch to coco.
Part from my ec meter which is at post office waiting
for me to collect. So hopefully tomorrow night can change it all over and give them a good feed.

All has arrived today.
Just calibrated my ph meter and my tap water is sitting at ph 6.9. So guessing it could go down a tad.
EC of tap water is 0.5.
So as they are mature plants going to try them on 1.2 ec and see how they fair.

they should be fine on 1.2 just keep an eye on there colour if they get pale then up it a tad at a time but better to slightly underfeed than overfeed imo good luck bud,peace

Right so it's all done. Plants transfer to coco.
Lost a bit of the root system on each one so hopefully they won't be stressed too much.
Ph was 6.2, ec 1.7 with background ec of 0.5. So 1.2 in total.
So couple of things.
1. I can not believe how much water coco holds compared to soil. Unbelievable stuff.
2. The root system that air pots create is insane.
The picture below is the super silver haze.
Probably only 10 inches tall with a root system nearly twice that.
So it's only day one and I'm already excited about this coco malarkey.

Just need to order my magne cal, massive boost and pk 13/14 then all set.

You're a brave man Dave I wish you the best of luck m8...

 

You know thinking about what you have just done, removed all the soil (& perlite if you were using it) will probably result in the most insane root system imaginable You see you'll never get the roots back how they were near the edges of the holes in the pots, so the plant will now grow sh*t loads more now it's in the coco

 

They might be upset for a bit but I can see advantages to upsetting them if you get me
