Hello everyone, I've not been around here much lately due to work commitments. Not much to report back, only that 1 SLH died and the two Kush look a bit deformed. One of the Kush still has its shell stuck on its head and the other Kush I eased the shell off and the leaves look all crinkly. Not sure if normal or not? I will keep going with em anywho.

 

The other SLHs are flying along and are all around 3 or 4 inches tall now.

Anyone know why the Kush looks like it needs a good iron?

SLH are in the terracotta pots Kush in the party cups.

Hey mate. Hmm tricky one with the kushes. I would see how they grow out as the bigger ones leafs seem to look a little bit better every new set it grows. Could be genes, are they just on water atm if not then feed just water. I would tape up those cups a little just to make sure that's not the problem (just incase light is penatrating soil), they have got holes in yeah? and the same as last grow make sure pots are light before watering again. Atb fella

Hi fatbagz, ill tag along, enjoyed the last one.

If you are running MH, one thing you have to watch out for is dry heat spots as they are hot bulbs. So make sure the fan is winding them well and also hang your extraction lower near the bulb if possible.  This ejects hot air direct from the bulb, which makes a difference. Also make sure that the pots have drainage and are not sitting in moisture, wetness. A baking rack on top of that box isnt a bad call. Do the beakers have holes in the bottom of them? The orange pots do and that could be the difference. Roots living in sodden muck = not good. They need air and dampness to thrive at optimum in muck imho.
