Hey all.
Can any one tell me if I can buy suitable 2ft t5 tubes "on the high street" as it were?? I've just noticed one of mine gone, and don't really trust the post to get me one before Christmas!!
Was thinking an aquarium place?

Robert Dyas might have one.

Or, try a local electrical factor, such as Edmundson or CEF.

The DIY warehouses (Homebase, B&Q, etc.) might be worth a try too :)

I would also think camping and caravan supply shops will sell summink along the lines your looking at. I seem to remember our kid buying a few t5 tubes from towsure a few years back for his caravan. :)

Yep :)

I tend to use 'cool white' at around 4,000K ('840' tubes) from seed to crop, but it probably doesn't make a huge amount of difference.

Right. I may have been looking for the wrong thing. @Anonymiss could you just clarify what I should be looking for please; for a veg tube.
And actually what would be good for flower.
