Malawi's and oscar's are in the cichlid family and are not like the rest of fish kind. Very intelligent fish in many ways, oscars can be trained with a whistle for instance. And most oscars can learn to jump out of the water through a hoop u hold in about a week

Yea something along those lines m8 , the bluefish board/mod comes with its own app from what I seen in the vid

is it the blue fish mini $99 you are after? it only works with the meanwell ldd drivers, not a problem.

the blue fish is twice the price at 200 $ and it does work just like you say ive just had a look  seems good

What about summink like this for lighting it might be an good cheap option, a bit of mastic to glue it place, jobs a good en, different colors too , even disco style, but looks like its got plain white lighting on settings too. If you scroll to lower right of page theirs alot more similar options in a sub menu.

is this the sort of thing you are thinking about i got it from planted tanks.net  it runs vero leds in to colours 5000k and warm white so something like 3000k  , is it white light you want of other colours 

 

jim this is only a guess but  i think they might not be strong enough if there is plants you need to simulate sun light i think , it all new to me but very interesting, ive not had a tank for years but i feel the juicse flowing again
