@Forest thanks for the tips and i was using big stuff. I,ll grind  it down when I do the second half tonight, thanks for the nudge, first half went swimmingly....................

 

i say swimmingly because cooking off using a pyrex dish suspended in really hot water in a slow cooker doesnt work, you keep having to top/heat the water up and when after hours and near the end, you top up with boiling water and the floating bowl tips into it and it all floods into your pyrex , your pretty fucked. An hour with oven gloves with a gas ring on trying to evaporate a bowl full of water, alcohol and oil doesn't work either,, went to bed at 0452 hrs disgruntled lol

get a electric ring m8  dont go near the gas i used to use the gas with a fan for years and  it was all fine but last time i did it last year, i set the dish thing alight it wasnt pretty  and i shat my pants i kid you not!

 

 

i forgot to add to how i do it  still use  a coffee filter still as well

Hey Dutchy,

 

Floating a dish in water is not gonna be the best way mate.

 

Use a deep wok filled with boiling water and a frying pan on top, heated with an electric ring. Takes no time at all to boil off. I reckon one Oz worth takes around 15 mins (ish)

My ISO floating in water gets to 67c , it takes a while but the rate it evaporates is near enough equall to the rate that my kitchen fan can get rid of the vapours

Thanks guys, I am going to go get a camping electric ring I think, far easier and quicker I dont  want to lose the  spolis again, .........todays run was a success yeee haaaa,,,,,, didnt get a lot but what i did get was far more than yesterdays run would have been, so thanks @Forest for the nudge about grinding up/breaking down your material first, made a difference and I had forgot yesterday
