is it even possible to get a good "free" copy these day's? i can get word for free as a student but could do with it all. or even a good alternative for publisher?

Seriously good free software. I can only say good things about it. You can save all your documents, presentations and what not in the Microsoft office formats if you want.

I used to do that, till an injunction an my provider wouldn't let me access the torrents, extratorrent.com was one I think. Anyway, next thing i had a letter from a firm of solicitors who wanted £600 in royalty losses or court.

 

Best thing was, the film they were citing was, some Cack Robert Jackson Film,lol  which they were using for a class legal action against down loaders, I dont do Robert Jackson so I wrote and told them to do one, put me off torrents though
