Very nice Ken, so that was elephant chillies? wow. Lovely tomato too.

My birdseye chilli started last October 2016 and is still full of chillies. It's getting cold here and some of the chillies are purple lol

Wow,  Petal, you sure have the right environment for growing those birds eyes.

they look magnificent and i reckon we should all pop round to yours for a curry !

I have the midget version of them, supposed to be birds eye chillies, im thinking of making them a bit harder, by punting them out into my garden and see how they cope with a Scottish summer  (which is a bit like the Austrailian rain season ha ha, but colder)

Planted some chillies out in the garden a couple of weeks ago to see if they can handle the weather. They seem happy enough so time to put more out. This should be a little chilli jungle once they all mature a bit. The tomatoes and banana is coming along too.

mine have been outside for about a month, but they havnt really grown much.

they are about a foot high, but dont look too great, the Scottish summer isnt helping.

i would love a greenhouse, but it wouldnt last. i had one of the cheap plastic ones, and it kept blowing away, even after i put breezeblocks on the shelves and base.

it get pretty wild up here.

i might have another go, and make a small timber/ plastic sheeting  cold frame to go over them and give them a fighting chance.

i wont be making any curries at this rate lol.

Mine are going a bit slow as the suns fucked off. Hoping these ones will have a bit more heat in them than the last ones I done. They were a bit mild to say the least.

I'll grab a pic or 2 tomorrow and fire them in here.

Just a heads up, to those that may feel their willie, after handling chillies.

Do not put your hands on a chilli and then on your willie.

This would be very silly.

Mrs Willy.

I threw some blood fish and bone, and some chicken manure at them today, in the hope of some growth spurt

Hay @bigwilliebobby, Just me maybe, but I'd feed them something :D My peppers are calcium hogs. My soil has a high pH, so I dose them heavily, all summer, with gypsum, especially if the leaves are getting pretty wrinkly. If your pH is low, though, maybe go out and get some scrapings off the white cliffs of Dover :)

I found 3 of these guys on one of my Bulgarian Carrots today. 2 were covered in parasitic Braconid wasps... puts a whole new spin on "I'm gonna git you, sucka" :P

they are still outside.

if you look at the pictures above taken a few weeks ago, they look exactly the same ;).

Maybe they can travel thru time lol.

no signs of any chillies yet, think i would be better off taking them inside, but dont really want to take any bugs into the house.
