I really struggle to work out the hours sometimes, like it's hard to envisage

Every time I always have to go over it.. 4 notches per hour, times 24 etc

 

The hardest bit is trying to switch from 24/0 to 18/6, taking into account what on/off times you want in 12/12

I always veg on 24/0 now, it's easier on my noggin

I think my brain is glitched, like dyslexia but for.. clocks

 

Anyone else get glitched to buggery over this?

Some timers are more of a hassle than others, I agree. I've tossed a few that made life hard.

One option might be to get 2 timers and preset each one for veg and bloom. Then when it comes time to bloom just change out the timer rather than messing with the toggles

I used coloured permanent markers to mark out the different times. Marked out my flower cycle in one colour and then topped it upto veg with another contrasting colour.

 

Made for easy easier time switching.

yup I have 2 timers,, one for the veg lights and one for the flower light. I've found it just easier that way...

Defo not just you

I only change it if I have no other option, got a single plug contactor with veg timer and 2 plug for the flower timer so I just have to swap plugs to have both lights on the right times lol

Just get a digital timer man, segment ones are shite and you can accidently leave a couple down and have light coming on when you didnt even know during lights off and then end up wondering why they hermied.

Their are digital timers out their that will let you to set up set up 20 different time schedules. 

I have one and leaf is timer 1 when I'm ready to flower I just set it to timer 2.

But I know what you mean about being hard to figure out. I always have to run it by my daughter to check it for me.

There are also quite a few wifi powered timer options out there with apps for your smart phone. Just make sure they can handle the amps of whatever your switching or make use of contactors/relays. Its 2019 embrace the tech, I get the whole kiss mind set to a point but there are better mouse traps.

I had to figure veg timer so they get lights out and man it took me a good few hours to get the idea of syncing it with flower timer lmaoo

I would advise not smoking before touching it or what elevator dude said lol Wi-Fi timers... bet that's another ball game when stoned loool

Does me in regular, simple maths does too, that's why I was always in the "purple group" at school.
