You lost me a bit m8, bear with me,  it sounds like you got the rezz underneath with airstones in it and from this the mix feeds the dripper rings ? if so it just sounds like a reciculating wilma mukka with a few airstones in the rezz and better drip rings, so it`s a modded wilma to me with new airstones and dripper rings, i just don`t wan`t badbillybob thinking it`s RDWC if it isn`t that is all mukka or am i miles off in thinking that.

 

Well now its got the huge root balls in the res its more hybrid RDWC now with the added benefit of being top fed. 

 

The are drinking a lot more now the roots are in the res.

 

To me is working just like a load of buckets as you do in RDWC except mines in one giant bucket with the (4000ltr/hr) pump in the middle recirculating the nuits around.

No I'm not greedy but I do like to flip them at the optimal time though!

 

Patience is the key.

 

Looking at it today I will flip over the weekend, the screen should be pretty much even by then. They would of had 6 weeks veg then.

 

Been looking forward getting these into bloom.

Well chaps,

 

That time has come. . . flippy time!

 

I thought this would be pretty much the right time to flip em now as the screen is pretty much full, any longer in veg and its gonna get uncontrollable in there.

 

I've also given the system a complete flush out and replaced with fresh nuits all round, bumped it up to about EC 1.6.

 

As you can see from when I emptied my system out it gave me the chance to show off my roots so far in the res (well best I could). They all look really healthy in there apart from the odd bit of staining from the beenies.

Plenty of root action going on in there, no wonder they are drinking more.

 

Gonna be crazy next 2-3 weeks as they get through the stretch phase.

 

I've got them under 2x 1000w MH bulbs in there now, which I will keep on for the first week. Then it's HPS all the way.

 

I'll be installing a small HPS in the middle too once things kick off in bloom properly.

It's taken me a while to get my config how I've wanted and just using past experience and what could be improved etc it's all come together now.
