Technically, yes that is possible, but we'd rather not do so.
Many of our members use Tor and blocking it would deny access to them, along with everyone else who uses it to obfuscate their IP address.

I dont use TOR, just a straightforward connection. So what's the problem, is it still many connections from specific IPs? What is that all about?

Well thctokers is on the same host (earlier on thread) so im guessing its a problem with host

If it was an attack on the host then they'd probably release a statement. If there is only a few servers affected then they might not. Makes me think it's a more targeted attack.
Now who might want to disrupt traffic to two newly-formed forums? Who might have a grudge against both those particular forums... I wonder....

I believe most of the IP's that are getting banned are based stateside (could be wrong on that though) which would suggest it's someone from that neck of the woods (or someone who wants us to think that lol).
Without tracking it back to it's source there's no real way of knowing for sure.
