Hey cheers spoons,
they're on heatsinks screwed to a thin sheet of alu with a 80cm PC fan running on 3v (keeps the noise down and less power consump),
works really well to keep them cool 
, i've run them 20 hours a day with no heat probs.

Mars LED are releasing a new light, they have just sent out 5 units to testers, but should be on general sale by the end of the month,
the only info I have at the moment are;
200 x 3w
340x280x90mm
not sure of the exact spectrum yet, just says multi, and better than there current ones
and not got the price yet, but if they're anything like there others, should be cheap.
one thing I've noticed is, they've moved the fans to the side
I'll post more exact details when I find out.

If you are talking about the grownorthern ones then I don't think they will be COB @fairy.
Although its been held in such secrecy that anything is possible 
Bysen have started a new COB light though. One of the sales representatives sent me some pictures a few days ago.

Not a 100% sure but I won't risk it. I've only got 1.6m to play with and my leaves are already bleaching from 3w leds with lenses. Think what 100w cobs with lenses will do....
I'm sticking to 3w for the moment.

This is what I mean @fairy
Don't have buds yet that can bleach, but I've had that before already in previous grows.
In the meantime I've set my e.shine to veg mode (a lot less 660nm) and the problem has stopped.
Only when buds are fattening up will I turn all the leds back on.
