im liking the mars 2 5w diode panels at the moment, very good bud quality and well worth the money imo... i have two other chinese led panels with 3w diodes and the penetration and bud density is much better with the 5w imo.... i have a dutch passion high lite 006/grow northern 006 and that is a cracking light but the cost to me is to much for what you get imo, still a very good bit of kit but the 5w diodes have opened my eyes big time... 

 

im considering fucking of my hps all together and getting all mars 2 panels in all three tents, they really are the bollocks imo...

going to be honest big thing that made me buy them was wattage of 200w a panel and only £250 for the 2 of them

hey revert how does the eshine compare to the grow northern or the bysion mate?

Right ho, so the mars2 1200w says it covers a 29ft2 area so roughly 5x5ft. How much height do I need to get this coverage? I think that's a limiting factor and why vert HPS is going to be better in my space than the LED's. 

 

Could I get 6 of the lower wattage models and make a hexagon tube out of them shining out and grow vert like that?

The eshine (240w real power consumption) needs distance to perform well. I got my best results with this led when my girl was flowering at about 50/60cm under the led and even then I had bleached bud.

Let me look if I still have some pics. In my current grow things got out of hand (again ) and my girl is way to close to the leds.

Thats why I need to learn how to scrog

IMO a scrog will be the best way to compare these leds.

That's the main thing mate, 5w leds and how cheap they are... My 900 only cost me 275.... Seriously mate you can't go wrong imo buddy think you made a good choice...

Thinking of using 2 in a 90x60x130 high .

Each pod has 4 x blue . 2 x infra red 1 x green and rest are various reds . I did know the spectrum but its a while since I did my research
