hey guys, plans has changed,

want to make a tincture instead of oil, so im pretty much MUST use 96% drinking alcohol.

 

ill probably spend some time reading about home made distilleries and see if i can come up with something and let u guys know.

 

just a thought but have you looked at glycerin for tincture?i havent used it yet myself but several others have and found good results,theres thread on the medical forum showing glycerin extraction,good luck

I have looked into the glycerin tinct, but it doesnt really seem to fully fit to my needs, although i might just try a litlle since glycerin is cheap so thanks.

I think ill just go for the fucking expensive 96% they sell here

Hmm... Could you make a tincture by extracting with, say, isopropanol and then dissolving the oil in something afterwards? At that stage, something like brandy or vodka would do, and you wouldn't need very much.

Using straight ethanol from the beginning will be very wasteful and expensive, because you'll need a lot of it and will end up evaporating most of it. (Unless you're just going to steep it or something, that is.)

hey guys,

plan is to decarboxylate all the bud&trim stuff at about 100 celsius in the oven for an hour.

than add the alcohol and let it sit in there for at least a week, and thats it basically,

you than can drink it, but the more u let the weed sit in there the more potent it gets,

 

than you add the desired amount of drops to a cup of tea and ur blown.

no alcohol is evaporated making a tincture/

That's pretty much what we used to do with all the old stems and sticks from street weed.

Get a half bottle of brandy or something, add bits it all year, and drink it at Christmas

Im going to use 96% alcohol and a lot of buds as well as trim and little bit of branches.
Im also planning to give that a week cure at least, as well as oven decarboxylation to get rid of most of the water and co2, having more thca converted into thc, so yea i guess its gonna have a good blow.

Ill post the results and preperations in here
