Not really, she can't read, but do you braise the beef 1st, because that's my tip

anyone got any good tips for a nice shortcust pastry?
I always make mine in a food processor. Half fat to flour, wiz it up till it looks like breadcrumbs tip into a bowl and ad the bare minimum of cold water!!

Yes, exactly! We call it dredging the meat... sounds awful, but makes it extra stewey,

I was kidding about Ms not being able to read, she's a teacher Unfortunately, her reading skills do not extend to recipes, or grocery labels
She's pretty good with sign language, though, she uses this one me a lot
