I've seen a few like that before @Lizardking, they should be fine mate, maybe a bit slow if anything but nothing major to worry about :)

Eta - usually they are old beans, yes. It seems to be a kind of protective film, maybe a survival reaction? I've seen them in brown, greyish green and black but other than the taproot, the roots are white as per usual.

Hej LK.  The Church was my very first harvest on that other forum.  It wasn't particularly great but it was very easy to grow, then hermied and dropped around six seeds when I harvested her.

I still have them, must be my Scottishness :) :)

Absolutely.

They are alive, would be my take on things.

Pot em up see how you go.

Perfectly possible it could be something very unique, which is cool in my book.

Mind you i love a mutant. Imagine if the leaves went black as well.

I remember about 4-5  years ago GHS were getting slated for early flowering hermies in their genetics, pretty certain the Church was one of them.

I'd go for something else.

All good things

I tried to grow The Church several years back as well.

I was looking for an indica rumored to smell like church incense like I found in a Dinafem Cali Hash Plant a year earlier.

The CHP was so *churchy* in aroma and was so potent  my wife renamed it "Holy Shit" :)

I did'nt get so lucky with the actual Church cut.

LK those seeds you popped got a lot further in life than my Church seeds ever did . I gave up on the strain
