if you in uk you far better talking to our @Forest theres many using his leds me included and they are very well built compared to the ali baba ones,shipping is the sting on ali baba normally more than item purchased and last order took full 60 days to arrive here in sussex also if the light goes wrong your fucked as you have to pay return postage,have a look at dexs diarys he uses forest cobs,peace

Thanks Solo Q, it is even better than that in person. I chose a 3000K and 250 W at the wall power draw. Even the damn box it came in is well built, reinforced corners made me smile and all the more anxious to see what was inside, lol. Forest is top shelf all around.

You know the wire hanger things you use for holding your led lighting @Forest well what are they are called cus i need 4 and im looking on ebay for some ? Cheers mate

I've got this old cheapo panel, and it's pretty much a brick, because the fans don't work and the diodes are burned out. (they really didn't last a heartbeat lol)

 

 

 

I know I kept talking about modding panels before but I didn't bother because they still worked, but this one seems a prime candidate.

 

What kind of money do you think it would take to make it decent? Not the best, but a good thing. I'd probably want it to light a 1m tent, maybe with some supplementary lighting if needed.

Obviously there's the COBs (which I know nothing about), new heatsink/s, new fans etc
