So you can buy the aquarium temperature probes on the bay cheap buy one for your tanks
Keep your temps below say 22 degrees or so
If your running more than two tanks then it's ice bottles behind the pump the 2L ones work well for the cheap way
Or if your flush the a chiller is the way if your running one tank

I have always had my cubes sat on little spacers like these so they not sat directly on the Matt and less rock wool breaks up and clogs your pumps and does not saturate your young plants when you first put them in
Make sure that the cubes are facing the right way with channels on the bottom of the cube running in line with flow of the nutrient solution running down the tray

When i did NFT lots and lots of roots grew down top plant tray and dangled down off edge into rezz/tank underneath which had an airstone or two in it, but that`s also how iv`e seen other nft grows too, mind you that was same blokes who shown me how to use it and that was way back in 2003, i specifically remember this cus tis the year when i fucked myself up on motorbike, i remember i came out of hospital well fucked up and bastard plants had mites, but luckily enough i couldn`t get any lower or devo`ed at time, lucky old me hey lol . But yes that`s how NFT should work in`t it Fairy ?
Cool thread mate.
