Afternoon farty types.

 

Dude jnr has been with his girlfriend for over 5 yrs now and although I have met her mother a couple of times I've never met her dad.

 

That's because he's a senior officer in the Metropolitan Police!

 

Looks like young Dude will be getting married in the not too distant future so Mrs TDA invited the parents for dinner last night, despite my protests.

 

The conversation got round to when the women were pregnant and how they both stopped drinking and smoking (tobacco) during their pregnancies.

 

Mrs TDA says "I only drank Guinness and smoked dope when I was pregnant", there was a hushed silence before I said "anyone for more cheesecake?".

 

Not sure if we'll get an invite to their place, I hope not.
