allright dave did you wash/buffer the coco if it was the type that needs such treatment before use?i take it this is new coco? do you have a small fan blowing constant over the seedlings?im guessing here but as you using those biotab things have you bothered phing at all?im assuming the tabs take time to start working and ask myself what happens to ph in that time?lots of questions i know but answers might help pin down cause, peace

Hey duke. Its the same coco I've used in the past, no need to wash or buffer it. I had a small pc fan blowing over them constantly. Alas, the last one has succumbed to damping off. The tent is in a different room with better ventilation. All I can say is I'm fuming with myself, and after thinking hard about the whole process, the only thing I can think that was different this grow was the pots were brand new last time. I must not have cleaned them properly which could have led to pythium growing in the new grow and causing the damping off issue. That's a theory though and all I can think it could be.allright dave did you wash/buffer the coco if it was the type that needs such treatment before use?i take it this is new coco? do you have a small fan blowing constant over the seedlings?im guessing here but as you using those biotab things have you bothered phing at all?im assuming the tabs take time to start working and ask myself what happens to ph in that time?lots of questions i know but answers might help pin down cause, peace
I've got more coco, so I'm gonna sterilise the tent and pots as best I can and dig out some more autos. I'll be back real soon

Is it first time with organic stiff in coco ?
I've allways had to ph organic soil or organic coco not sure why but drop the ph to 5 and let the plant raise it..
I had dead plants when I tried coco and full organic with bacteria the bacteria seem to take over and made my coco waaaayyy too alive and went like Peat eventually it's why if i do coco I only mix charge in and keep feedingold later in after 5 finger leafs or it makes shit go bad ..
Well did for me

Realy sorry to hear you got any back up beans ?

Hey Dex, nah it's not the first time using this method. I'm gonna order some more beans, clean the pots down with a bleach solution and order some fresh mycotrex but I'll mix it in with the entire medium instead of just dropping it in the hole next time. I remembered I can get seeds on the cheap from seed stockers so I'll get on that on the weekend once I've been paid

Thanks for the tips duke. I haven't got a pH pen or a microwave though.

My mate doesn`t bother ph`ing his coco grows anymore @duke i suppose it`s down to experience that though as we both know our softwater water and 2ml of Canna AnB is around bang on ph perfect.
Sorry about the bad luck @KrazyDave
