Well I made a scrumptious Shepherds Pie - some say it should be called Cottage Pie because I use beef mince instead of Lamb meat but that's not what I call mine.

I can't be bothered writing down the recipe or method so just pics.

If you really want recipe pm me otherwise google recipes  :P  x

Bon Appetite!

Ohhhh Petal, that looks lovely :P

Ms H makes a nice one and she calls it Shepard's Pie, too... doesn't matter what's in it, and every once in a while, she does include a shepard.

I like the way you do the top, is it crunchy? :pimped:

Glad you like Denots :)

Oh definitely need cheese on top - I made a crunchy cheesy topping using crushed crisps and cheese - does it look like cheese? perhaps not - It didn't really melt, it just went crunchy - strange lol

I love a good shepherds pie, the trick is to completely undress the shepherds first and I do strongly recommend giving them a good wash before mincing and cooking.  Mum always used to forget, hated the soggy lumpy bits...

Petal that looks smashing, you can invite me and my two girls round for supper any time.
