This will be my grow for the Dinafem seeds that I've been assured are in route. My current grow is days away from finishing and then I'll clean and rethink the light layout. This will be a soil grow with Cyco nutes.

I'll get more involved when the seeds arrive. Really ready to see what can be done with some solid genetics, thanks Dinafem!!!

I'm chopping at the bit to get this one going. Seriously don't know how horse deals with it daily. Praise the gift of genetics.

I got a few extra hours in last week at the retail shop stocking shelves so I'll get a "bit" more off in Mr. Fug's name for the benefit of the beasts. Shearing the wealth, share the health.

Nearly as amped about this one as I was with grow one.

Thanks again for the opportunity.....

I'm thinking of running two of the OG Kush Autos straight off and then comeback with two of the Gorilla 3 photos towards the end of the auto bloom phase @18hrs. So the photos will get 3 weeks of veg before flipping. Should make the most of my electric use/expense.

I'm not as familiar with autos as photos... I don't think the 20gal containers are called for, what would the community suggest for pot size/dimensions/composition/substrate? If I dig around in the bone yard I'm confident I could find enough parts and pieces to do a hydro/hempy/water culture thingy. Just not sure if I am up to the chores of non-mud. The part time job has improved my mobility so perhaps... Anyways, whatcha think folks?

Guess I should give the room layout before asking for suggestions and recommendations. It's 7x7x7 foot. There are two 15amp circuits at present. I used the quantum boards for side light, thinking of moving them to top center position and use the other 5 asst LED's for 45degree and side light. There is a 30amp 240 line run to the clothes drier in the next room. I'm considering tapping into that for two 1000w HID's. They would be mounted in the upper corners of the room illuminating the plants diagonally. I can run heat exhaust straight out the wall with no concern. With the different spectral outputs of the different board configurations and the addition of MH HID maybe I won't miss the sun so much.

This is what I'm thinking on light position. Drawing, scanning and posting. I'm so tekkie.

lookxs  good to me.

for autos i used to use 15 or 20 litre pots ith mud. used about 15-20% perlite to lighten it up and the plants loved it.

a good root stim makes a big difference with autos - roots axcelerator works well

dont pot them up, just put them straight into thier final pots

and best of  luck with them

as for the hydro v soil.

hydro will give you yield, but mud will give you flavourfull buds

Thanks @ bigbadbillybob I like the idea of flavor over yield. Also straight into the final container makes sense. I have a bunch of 5gal buckets and won't need to get out the kiddie pool to mix up some mud. I have used Ryzofuel regularly and have a veg kicker for the short veg time available which autos.

Thanks for the perspective and taking a look!
