Hello everyone. The names King Bob but y'all can call me Bob. I'm new to this site so I look forward to talking with as many of you as I can.

I have a couple soil grows under my feet but am still very much a noob. As the title says, I need help. I am soon to start turning a cupboard in my snake room into a small grow box. The cupboard is 3ft deep, 3ft wide and 5ft tall. I have a few bits of equipment left over from when I moved but not a lot.

Apologies for the mess lol. My questions are.....1,Do you think 600w with 6" extraction would be okay or should I dial it back to 400w? 2, any ideas on extraction? Was thinking of going through the cupboard floor and box the fan in there with a vent into the snake room. Also the left side of cupboard is an outside wall.

Hello Bob, welcome to the circle fella. I had a cupboard when I first started a zillion years ago that looks the same size I would say 400 max for lighting in there sn extract at the top to where ever. You might have some heat probe though, you would have to test.

Have a look at Dukes set up in his never ending diary, same sorta size I think diary is in coco active diaries me thinks atb

I would think 600w will be a little warm in there. If you have a dimmable ballast then do a test run and see how it works out

Hey buddy welcome to the circle, I have a 80/80/160cm tent I did use a 600 in there and you find us too hot and dry unless really cold loft..

And less head room because you'll need at least a ft distance from tip of plants, it's better in that space a 250 Watt imo.. That way temps should stay sweet and plants will grow healthy

Tho its doable, especially if you have a cool tube

With 400 I'm growing really beautiful buds and good size, lighting power ain't always the case for a good yield mate

Hi Bob welcome dude.im new here too dont worry about it  .id go for a 400w max in that space and id stick with the 6in exhaust,are you thinking of going with a passive inlet?
