Chat has been getting busy lately, all good, and a bit of fancy footwork was added the other day to help make some posts easier to make, but it also makes things a little bit confusing the first time you come across it.
The first time you see it, it's like, wtf why is everyone talking about/dissing me or having a laugh at my expense when I've not done anything!!
Basically, if you type "/you" anywhere in a chat post, it replaces the "/you" with the readers/viewers forum name, so everyone gets a personalised message. It's great for when a few peeps are in and you want to talk to everyone, like a hiya so an so but don't want to miss anyone or have to type out everyone's name.
It's not intended to be an abusive bit of code at all, infact, it's bloody hilarious at times, usually those late night stoned/tipsy times. So, if you do come across it when in the shoutbox, don't worry, your not being singled out or anything, its just stoners being silly buggers as usual And, once you realise its just the you code being used you'll get the funny side of it.
Apologies to anyone who thinks we are all talking about you behind your back, that's really not the case, apart from that Mrs Willy woman of course
